This portion of my web is devoted to Grandma Gussie Kirschstein's recipe book. It's pretty interesting. Her recipe book was handwritten recipe's, mostly in pencil and the book that was used was a calendar. This did make it easier to keep track of page order. This is primarily important as this book survived, well, lots of use, many many kitchen abuses and even a flood. You can tell from most of the pages that there is a water mark from this flood.

While sharing these recipe's I will try to enlist the assistance of the other members of my family for stories, pictures, recipe variations and a bit of a history of Gussie and Barney's ancestry.
